The Social Studies curriculum helps students to grow in knowledge, develop skills and learn values through examining issues that are of concern to Singapore and the world in which they live. Students are encouraged to inquire real-world issues that concern their lives. Through inquiry, field-based learning and cohort learning journeys, students will attain relevant knowledge and understanding about these issues, develop critical and reflective thinking skills and appreciate different perspectives.

National Education
As a significant aspect of Character and Citizenship Education, National Education comprises school efforts that provide students with the knowledge, skills, and values to understand Singapore's history, realities, and challenges whilst appreciating our journey to nationhood. Our programmes aim to nurture socially aware students who think critically and stay informed about local and global issues. These include Social Studies lessons, commemoration of NE core events, and other activities such as Newsflash, P5 NE Show and TIDE lessons in the school.
Through meaningful exploration of their national identity, students develop a strong sense of belonging, reality, and hope, motivating them to contribute positively to their communities and nation while pursuing personal goals.
